A source claims the following:
-Khatami, Rafsanjani, Montazeri and Qom scholars are now convinced a partly secular constitution is the only way forward
-Supreme Leader Khamenei has lost all credibility with his handling of the election. It is believed that since he declared the election victory for Ahmadinejad as a ‘Divine assessment’ and then changed course and allowed for a review, he has demonstrated duplicity and an inability to hear the voice of God.
-Montazeri is prepared to step in as interim Supreme Leader
-As we speak, the reformists are planning a new government
I don’t need to say how speculative this is at the moment, but the source it is coming from has been extremely accurate up to this point and is certainly in contact with those who are involved in these procedures.
